Anxiety is the sense of uneasiness, distress, or dread you feel before a major event. It is your mind and body’s reaction to stressful, dangerous, or unfamiliar situations. Anxiety is common among individuals. A certain level of anxiety is necessary to keep us alert and attentive. However, individuals suffering from anxiety-related disorders may experience excessive fear or worry, intrusive thoughts, sleep difficulties, ptsd to mention a few. There are many types of anxiety disorders and many factors that induce anxiety. Not all symptoms are related to an anxiety disorder. How do you know if you suffer from an anxiety disorder?
